Setting Up Billing in a Google Cloud Project

In order to use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, it's essential to set up billing for your project. This guide will walk you through the process of linking a billing account to your Google Cloud project.

Prerequisites

• Ensure you have a Google Cloud project created.
• You should be a Billing Administrator on the Google Cloud account.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open Google Cloud Console

1. Go to the Google Cloud Console.
2. Sign in with your Google account credentials.
3. Select your project from the dropdown at the top of the page.

In the Console

1. In the Google Cloud Console, click on the navigation menu (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
2. Navigate to "Billing".

2. For existing billing accounts, click on "Manage billing accounts" and then "Link a billing account".
